Overview

ShowingUp is committed to respecting your privacy and ensuring you have control over the communications you receive. This document outlines the process by which users provide consent to receive messaging related to ShowingUp’s services, updates, and features.

Consent Collection Process

Users can provide consent to receive messages through one of the following methods:

1. Sign-Up Process:
   During the account creation process on the ShowingUp app or website, users are presented with an option to opt-in to receive messages about app updates, features, and relationship insights. The user must actively check a box or select an “I Agree” button to indicate consent.

2. Settings Menu:
   Users can also opt-in or modify their messaging preferences via the Settings menu within the ShowingUp app. Consent status is displayed clearly, and users can toggle messaging preferences at any time.

3. Dedicated Consent Page:
   Users will be able to visit a dedicated consent page (showingupapp.com/consent) where they can provide explicit consent to receive messaging. The page will outline the types of messages they may receive and provides an “I Agree” button to opt-in.

How to Opt-Out

Users can opt-out of messaging at any time by:

• Clicking the unsubscribe link included in any email or SMS communication.
